Bruce-Randolph Collection
The Bruce-Randolph collection (Accession 20232) consists of the research notes of William Cabell Bruce (1860-1946) relating to John Randolph. The collection comprises 500 items and 14 bound volumes and was accumulated by Bruce preparatory to the writing of John Randolph of Roanoke 1773-1833 (New York, 1922). The material consists for the most part of typescript copies of letters and documents. Included is a scrapbook with glossy prints of various portraits of Randolph.
