- notes: Sometime between issues of December 25, 1798 and January 8, 1799 (most likely January 1st), Davis increased production pace to twice weekly, apparently attempting to increase paper's revenue, after having been removed as public printer early in November 1798. From October 1802 until mid-1805, paper was edited by English expatriate John Wood; he was succeeded by Charles Prentiss of Boston from March to about December 1805.
