- notes: Lingan parted company from his partner Matthias Bartgis in March 1809, so putting their Philanthropist into suspension; when he resumed publication, the weekly had a new title and focus, thus it is recorded here as a distinct publication, as it is in most references. Only two numbers survive; earliest (August 22, 1809) establishes starting date seen here; other is for November 21, 1809; publication ended shortly thereafter (or with) that issue, as Lingan sold his press to Jonathan Foster, who then used it to print his new Republican Constellation on January 2, 1810.
