- id: 74
- end_date: ca. October 3, 1829
- frequency: Weekly
- lineage_id: 22
- proprietors: Edgar W. Robinson
- start_date: By April 28, 1826
- variant_number: Fincastle 02-05
- notes: Sometime between the issues for May 27, 1825 and April 28, 1826, Robinson simplified the title of his paper to The Mirror, probably with the start of volume V in July 1825. The weekly remained so titled until he closed the paper and sold his office in October 1829.
The unnamed buyers of Robinson's business would issue the succeeding Virginia Patriot on December 26, 1829; that paper continued in varying guises and under several owners until about July 1858, nine years after Robinson's death. - lineage_title: Herald of the Valley
