- title: Journal of the House of Burgesses. General Assembly, begun and held at the capitol, in the city of Williamsburg, on Tuesday, the seventh day of November, in the tenth year of George the third. By the Grace of God, of Great-Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the faith, &c, Annoque domini, 1769.
- sequence_number: 13
- year: 1769
- place_issued: Williamsburg
- issuing_press: William Rind
- author: Virginia. General Assembly. House of Burgesses.
- notes: First session of the Assembly of 1769-1772 (two meetings: November 7 to December 21, 1769 and May 21 to June 28, 1770).
The journal of both meetings was designed as a single, continuously numbered volume. Thus Swem recorded this as a single volume (#22644) from the copy he saw in the State Archives (today the Library of Virginia), and so a 1769 imprint, as did Evans (#11910). However, Clayton-Torrence recognized this title as first of two distinct imprints (#361 & #372); entry here conforms to Clayton-Torrence, as such reflects actual production.
