- title: The Bermudian. A poem.
- sequence_number: 26
- year: 1774
- place_issued: Williamsburg
- issuing_press: Purdie & Dixon
- author: Tucker, Nathaniel (1750-1807).
- notes: Dedicated to his younger brother, Henry Tucker, Jr. (1753-99) of Bermuda. Text includes a sonnet composed for the author by Rev. Samuel Henley (1740-1815), the professor of moral philosophy at the College of William & Mary and a colleague of his brother St. George (1752-1827), then the professor of law there. The Tucker family originated in Bermuda; St. George was likely behind this Williamsburg publication, as Nathaniel was then practicing medicine in Edinburgh and had published an edition of this work there that same year; poem was written while Tucker had resided previously in Charleston, South Carolina.
