Given under my hand and the seal of the colony, at Williamsburg, this 8th day of May, 1775, and in the 15th year of His Majesty's reign.

- notes: Dunmore herein voided land-claim surveys made along western frontier inconsistent with his order of December 1773 to record claims with the colony's land office and not county courts.
Sheet lacks printer credit; Bristol attributed this title to the Dixon & Hunter press, and the typography herein is consistent with other work then issuing from that press. John Pinkney was still officially the public printer, and had published Dunmore's address to the Council just five days earlier (1775.009), but work here not consistent with that of his press.
