Reply to the Governor by the Council in Assembly (June 1775).
- imprint_number: 1775.015
- title: To His Excellency the Right Hon. John Earl of Dunmore, His Majesty's lieutenant and governor general of the colony and dominion of Virginia, and vice admiral of the same: the humble address of the Council.
- sequence_number: 15
- year: 1775
- place_issued: Williamsburg
- issuing_press: Dixon & Hunter
- author: Virginia. Council.
- notes: Response to Dunmore's address of June 1, 1775.
Sheet lacks printer credit; Bristol attributed this item to Dixon & Hunter, who had printed items for the Council that year, and the typography herein is consistent with work from their press. The post of printer for the colony was then in flux, as Alexander Purdie soon replaced John Pinkney, who had assumed the role after Christina Rind's death in September 1774; Purdie also printed for the series of Virginia Conventions.
