- notes: The Assembly of May 1784 ordered 500 copies of this report, and the bills the committee had proposed, printed in advance of their consideration during the ensuing October session; title issued from the Dixon & Holt press in November 1784.
While widely recognized as Thomas Jefferson's "revisal of the laws" (1779), the revision was a collaborative work between Jefferson, Edmund Pendleton, and George Wythe; this printing included the 120 proposed laws (of 129) not considered by the 1779 Assembly.
