- sequence_number: 13
- year: 1787
- place_issued: Richmond
- issuing_press: Dixon & Holt in association with Augustine Davis and Thomas Nicolson.
- author: Virginia. General Assembly.
- notes: Collaborative project involving every Richmond printer excepting James Hayes; the firm of Dunlap & Hayes was dismissed as public printers on May 5, 1786, a result of their perceived negligence (tardy production of Assembly records); at this meeting, the Assembly assigned production of the session laws to the remaining Richmond presses, with Dixon & Holt, the new public printers, managing the process in all three offices, to speed their publication.
Title page misspells Davis's name as "Davies," so evidently it was not printed in his office.
