• notes: Collaborative project involving every Richmond printer excepting James Hayes; the firm of Dunlap & Hayes was dismissed as public printers on May 5, 1786, a result of their perceived negligence (tardy production of Assembly records); at this meeting, the Assembly assigned production of the session laws to the remaining Richmond presses, with Dixon & Holt, the new public printers, managing the process in all three offices, to speed their publication.
