- issuing_press: Augustine Davis
- author: Virginia. General Assembly. Committee of Revisors.
- notes: By order of the council, 250 copies were printed for the use during the ensuing Assembly; the governor had moved up the opening date of that session on June 7th (see 1792.012), evidently in anticipation of the lengthy deliberations that would attend the consideration of this draft revisal, in the works since 1789; however, Davis was unable to deliver the second volume of drafts when the Assembly opened, having received that set just six weeks earlier.
Of the 91 bills in the two volumes, 86 were enacted, streamlining the extant legal code; they were then published with 10 new acts from this Assembly and 85 acts of the 1793 Assembly as the Revisal of 1792 (1794.037).
Most of the few surviving copies of this title have been bound with volume 2 (1792.030).
