- imprint_number: 1793.004
- title: [Journal of the senate of the commonwealth of Virginia, begun and held at the capitol, in the city of Richmond, on Monday, the first day of October, one thousand seven hundred and ninety-two].
- sequence_number: 4
- year: 1793
- place_issued: Richmond
- issuing_press: Thomas Nicolson
- author: Virginia. General Assembly.
- notes: Session met from October 1 to December 28, 1792, an inordinately long session that was largely concerned with the first post-Revolution revisal of Virginia law.
No copy of this journal known to be extant; Swem recorded its existence from the standard practice of having it published by the Senate printer, then Thomas Nicolson, but he did not find either a manuscript or printed copy, nor a record of payment for its printing. Included herein as an imprint likely issued in small quantities because of disparate length and cost.
