  Issued in conjunction with Assembly of November 1794, this revisal process began with the Assembly of October 1789 and appointment of committee of revisors (Edmund Pendleton, Henry Tazewell, St. George Tucker, Joseph Prentis, Arthur Lee, and William Nelson, Jr.); their revisal was enacted by the October 1792 session, and printed with the acts of the November 1793 session in 1794. Davis was paid for producing 2300 copies of these laws in June 1795.
  In December 1794, the House ordered that the property and revenue laws in this revisal be published in German in response to petitions from the German-speaking communities in the Shenandoah Valley; that work (Akten, welche in der general assembly der republik Virginien passirt worden sind. Swem 7805) was printed in Philadelphia in 1795 at the bilingual press of Charles Cist, so not a true Virginia imprint and omitted from this Index.
