• title: The thorough bred horse Melzar will stand at my stable, in King & Queen county, seven miles below Todd's bridge, and twelve miles from Hobb's-Hole, and on the most ready road from thence to the city of Richmond, will cover mares, the ensuing season, at five pounds per mare, but may be discharged by the payment of three guineas, on or before the first day of August. The season will commence on the first day of March, and will expire on the last day of July. Good and extensive pasturage, gratis, and the greatest care taken of the mares, but will not be answerable for accidents or escapes. ... John Hoskins. N.B.
