- sequence_number: 24
- year: 1796
- place_issued: Richmond
- issuing_press: Thomas Nicolson
- author: Wythe, George (1726-1806), reporter.
- notes: Case concerned property claims of one decedent's estate against the estate of another decedent (proved in 1787) argued before the Supreme Court of Appeals in about 1793.
One of a series of law reports published by Wythe in a form designed to be bound in volumes of collected decisions, so avoiding the expense of larger works, such as his earlier volume of High Court of Chancery decisions (1795.014); several imprints in this series carry only caption titles, so leaving determinations of authorial and printer credits to external sources; Evans attributed these unidentified titles to George Wythe and Thomas Nicolson, based on their 1795 association, and other authorities followed his lead – as does this Index.
