Memorial of Inhabitants of Richmond on Treaty with Great Britain.
- imprint_number: 1796.035
- title: To the honourable the House of Representatives of the United States. The memorial of the subscribers, freeholders and inhabitants of ... Henrico and city of Richmond ...
- sequence_number: 35
- year: 1796
- place_issued: Richmond
- issuing_press: Uncertain
- author: Inhabitants of Henrico County and City of Richmond.
- notes: A petition to Congress concerning the Jay Treaty, declared in effect in February 1796 and whose funding was debated by the ensuing session beginning in December 1796.
Sheet lacks colophon; dating by Hummel indicates production between those two dates; however, the copy he saw at the Library of Virginia is not listed in current digital catalog, so obscuring the petitioners' opinion on that treaty; clearly a Richmond title, but press cannot be assigned without evidence of that opinion.
