Circular Letter from Grand Lodge of Virginia (January 1798).
- imprint_number: 1798.009
- title: Richmond, Virginia, Jan. 28, A.D. 1798 A.L. 1798 Most worshipful sir & brother: The pleasurable office of communing with you, on the basis of fraternal correspondence, having been assigned to me, by the Grand Lodge of Virginia ...
- sequence_number: 9
- year: 1798
- place_issued: Richmond
- issuing_press: John Dixon Jr.
- author: Freemasons. Grand Lodge of Virginia.
- notes: Apparently a cover letter for transmitting either the 1794-97 Treasurer's Report (1798.011) or the Proceedings of their November 1797 meeting (1798.010) or both.
No copy known; existence recorded by several authorities, but the Early American Imprints Series did not film this particular item; that databank mistakenly links to the Proceedings of their October 1790 meeting (1790.020).
John Dixon Jr., himself a Mason, was printer to the Grand Lodge from April 1791 until his death in May 1805, so the attribution here.
