Memoirs of the year Two Thousand Five Hundred.
- imprint_number: 1799.038
- title: Memoirs of the year two thousand five hundred. … Translated from the French, by W. Hooper, M.A.
- sequence_number: 38
- year: 1799
- place_issued: Richmond
- issuing_press: William Prichard
- author: Mercier, Louis-Sébastien (1740-1814).
- notes: English translation of L'an deux mille quatre cent quarante: Rêve s'il en fût jamais: Rêve s'il en fût jamais, originally published in Paris in 1771.
One "N. Pritchard" reported as publisher; Prichard sometimes spelled his name Pritchard (as seen in 1799.036), so credit appears a typographical error with N in place of W; moreover, no Pritchard with given name starting with N found in Virginia in 1799; so the attribution here.
Prichard, formerly of Baltimore and Philadelphia, directed a bookstore and publishing house in Richmond from 1792 to 1815.
