Journal of the House of Delegates (December 1801).
- imprint_number: 1802.006
- title: Journal of the House of Delegates of the commonwealth of Virginia, begun and held at the capitol in the city of Richmond, on Monday the seventh day of December, eighteen hundred and one.
- sequence_number: 6
- year: 1802
- place_issued: Richmond
- issuing_press: Meriwether Jones
- author: Virginia. General Assembly. House of Delegates.
- notes: This session met from December 7, 1801 to February 2, 1802.
Title page carries an imprint date of 1801, though it was necessarily issued after the session ended in February 1802; that error indicates that the press of Meriwether Jones continued the practice of his predecessor, Augustine Davis, of compiling the official House journal from the typeset employed to print the journal sheets that were issued daily during the session, about 200 in number; not knowing the ending date of the meeting, the title page reflects the date when its printing started.
