- imprint_number: 1802.011
- title: Information respecting proceedings of the legislature.
- sequence_number: 11
- year: 1802
- place_issued: Richmond
- issuing_press: Henry Pace
- author: Sheffey, Daniel (1770-1830).
- notes: Imprint carries a simple caption title. Sheffey was a Maryland-born shoemaker representing Wythe County in the House of Delegates in the 1801, 1802, and 1803 Assemblies; admitted to the bar in July 1802, he later served in the Virginia Senate (1804-09) and the U.S. House of Representative (1809-17). This title was evidently designed as a concise guide to the arcane parliamentary procedures followed in the General Assembly, for the use of the Federalist minority of which he was a ardent member, after his first term in the House of Delegates.
Only known copy is in the Daniel Sheffey Papers Collection at the Virginia Historical Society.
