- year: 1804

- author: Bank of Potomac.
- notes: Essentially a partnership agreement for an unincorporated bank in Alexandria; this set of articles was published in the National Intelligencer on August 3, 1804, announcing that the bank's subscription books would be opened on September 6th; the bank was forced to continue in this manner when the General Assembly declined to assent to a petition for incorporation from the bank's directors during its 1805-06 Assembly; the bank eventually did receive a formal charter of incorporation from the U.S. Congress in February 1811.
Only known copy, in the state archives at the Library of Virginia, lacks date; their catalogue suggests an 1805 publication date for this title, but these articles were published in 1804.
