CXII of the Acts of December 1803 Assembly), this act altered the process for selecting Virginia's delegation to the Electoral College in conformance with the changes embodied in the Twelfth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution (which was later ratified on June 15, 1804), in order to avoid a recurrence of the tie between Jefferson and Burr in the 1800 election by forcing discrete votes for president and vice-president.
  No copy known extant; Swem recorded existence from payment to Pleasants for printing 300 copies; issue date of this title is uncertain as it could have been printed by Pleasants under contract to public printer Meriwether Jones during 1803 Assembly (which ended February 2, 1804) or by Pleasants as public printer after Jones resigned that post in March 1804; Swem listed the item in the list of documents associated with 1804 Assembly (began December 3, 1804), so clearly published sometime between January and December 1804.
