Treatise on Christian Baptism.
- imprint_number: 1807.071
- title: A treatise on Christian baptism. Being an answer to a piece entitled The Bible Baptist, written by Mr. Leeland [sic] by Joseph Moore, V.D.M.
- sequence_number: 71
- year: 1807
- place_issued: Winchester
- issuing_press: Richard Bowen
- author: Moore, Joseph.
- notes: The initials V.D.M. (verbum dei minister, or Minister of the Word of God) suggest Moore was a Christian minister lacking ordination and/or degree; he published two editions of this work in Norfolk (1803.054) and New York in 1804, apparently in response to a republication of John Leland's 1789 treatise The Bible Baptist (Evans 21919) in Georgia that year (Shaw & Shoemaker 6634); Leland's name was also misspelled in the title of the Norfolk edition, so indicating that Bowen drew from that edition in producing this 1807 Winchester version.
The only known copy held by the Library of Congress was not found for filming by the Early American Imprints Series.
