Acts of Congress (10th Congress, 2nd Session).
- imprint_number: 1809.048
- title: [Acts passed at the second session of the tenth congress of the United States. Nov. 7, 1808 to March 3, 1809].
- sequence_number: 48
- year: 1809
- place_issued: Richmond
- issuing_press: Manson & Minor
- author: United States. Tenth Congress.
- notes: This session of Congress met from November 7, 1808 to March 3, 1809.
No copy known extant; Swem recorded title from payment voucher to Manson & Minor on December 20, 1809, for having printed 1500 copies of this collection; this annual contract had been filled in the previous two years by Seaton Grantland, and it apparently devolved to Manson & Minor, along with his press, when they acquired his office in the fall of 1809.
Swem notes that there is not a further record in the state's public accounts for contracting publication of the acts of Congress after this title issued; such indicates the ready availability of these annual editions from publishers in Washington and Philadelphia through Richmond's booksellers, so obviating the need for local publication.
