- author: Hening, William Waller (1768-1828).
- notes: Though carrying a Richmond imprint, this work was likely printed in Philadelphia where the firm of Johnson & Warner had originated and who still employed printers there; it was also Hening's practice to employ non-Virginia printers on occasion, as seen with the completed first volume of the case reports he published in conjunction with William Munford (Shaw & Shoemaker 16644) in 1808. Hening entered this work for copyright on October 7, 1809.
