- notes: One of many petitions received in years before the December 1811 Assembly asking changes to the Chancery Court system; no action was taken on any of them until that session.
Only known copies are in the state archives at the Library of Virginia; they were received by the Assembly on December 6, 1810; all are identical typographically, but lack colophons; the LVA ascribes them to a Fredericksburg press; from spring 1805 through early 1811, Timothy Green conducted the only printing office there, hence the attribution here.
