  Title follows from the founding of the Virginia Religious Tracts Society in October 1812 by Bourne and Davidson, who also employed Collett's press to publish a sermon shortly before Bourne's (1813.074); Collett advertised on last page [40] herein (but not filmed by the Early American Imprints Series) that he planned to publish a collection of Bourne's tracts, starting with his Marriage Indissoluble (1813.072); however, that title actually issued from the press that the two ministers began in Harrisonburg in spring 1813 with Lawrence Wartmann as their printer, with Collett producing other imprints for their tract society.
