- author: Murray, Lindley, 1745-1826
- notes: Neither James Kennedy nor his son Andrew was a trained printer, so the titles bearing their imprimatur were printed by others for them; in this case, the title-page imprint reports that this item issued from the press of William Warner in Baltimore, although clearly an imprint intended for sale in Alexandria.
Shaw & Shoemaker recorded this title twice, evidently believing that Warner had printed an edition for himself; however, no copy of such an edition is known extant; hence, the Early American Imprints Series filmed the Alexandria variant under both entry numbers.
