- imprint_number: 1815.012
- title: Journal of the House of Delegates of the commonwealth of Virginia, begun and held at the capitol in the city of Richmond, on Monday the ten[th] day of October, one thousand eight hundred and fourteen.
- sequence_number: 12
- year: 1815
- place_issued: Richmond
- issuing_press: Deborah W. L. Pleasants
- author: Virginia. General Assembly. House of Delegates.
- notes: This session met from October 10, 1814 to January 19, 1815; imprint lacks date, but this title must have issued, according to statute, shortly after the Assembly adjourned in 1815.
Imprint states: "Richmond: Printed at the Argus office, for the benefit of the representatives of Samuel Pleasants, deceased." Long-time public printer, Samuel Pleasants, died six days before this session opened; the Assembly chose to continue employing his press for most of the session, granting his widow, Deborah W. L. Pleasants, her husband's formal title until January 1, 1815; when that license expired, the Argus Office continued to print the House journal, while the remaining public work was assigned to Thomas Ritchie, their new public printer; this title represents the last one published under the auspices of Deborah Pleasants and her son Samuel Madison Pleasants.
