- imprint_number: 1815.013
- title: Journal of the Senate of the commonwealth of Virginia, begun and held at the capitol, in the city of Richmond, the tenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and fourteen.
- sequence_number: 13
- year: 1815
- place_issued: Richmond
- issuing_press: Thomas Ritchie
- author: Virginia. General Assembly. Senate.
- notes: This session met from October 10, 1814 to January 19, 1815; imprint is dated 1814, but this title must have issued, according to statute, shortly after the Assembly adjourned in 1815.
Thomas Ritchie became printer to the Commonwealth on January 1, 1815, when the license granted to Deborah W. L. Pleasants expired; she had assumed the formal title on the death of her husband, Samuel Pleasants in October, six days before this session opened; but as of January 1st, that title fell to Ritchie, printer to the Senate; yet, he retained production of the Senate's journals for the duration of the session, as did Pleasants with the House journals.
