• notes: Works was a journeyman printer from Connecticut who practiced his trade in Richmond in two stints, one in the 1810s and another in the 1820s; this title marks the start of his first stint in Virginia, being issued in the fall of 1815; however, only the title page was printed in Richmond; the remainder of pamphlet consists of Philadelphia-produced sheets, including 32 pages [p. 5-12 & 44-67] from the Johnson & Warner Almanac for 1816 (1815.029), printed by Lydia Bailey for them there, that were bound with a map produced by Philadelphia engraver William Barker, and then issued as a whole by Works in Richmond.
  Imprint lacks a date; some authorities erroneously assign a date of 1814 to this title, despite the fact that parts of the text carry an obvious 1815 date.
