- notes: The Literary Fund was established by an act of Assembly in February 1811 to finance public education in the state; monies deposited in the fund came primarily from sale of escheated lands and fines; those funds were augmented by acts of the December 1815 Assembly, so the Assembly resolved (February 24, 1816) that the directors should publish the collected acts that authorized and sustained the fund. As the firm of Ritchie, Trueheart, and DuVal did not exist before May 1816, this title was issued well after the Assembly's resolution.
Pagination of last gathering (F) duplicates that of the fifth (E), so pages 33-40 repeated.
