Town & Country Almanac for 1818 (Stewart).
- imprint_number: 1817.062
- title: The Town & Country almanac, for the year of Our Lord 1818. Being the second after bissextile [sic], or leap year, and forty second of American independence. … Adapted to the latitude and meridian of Virginia and Maryland. By John Sharp.
- sequence_number: 62
- year: 1817
- place_issued: Alexandria
- issuing_press: Benjamin L. Bogan for John A. Stewart
- author: Sharp, John (1754-1840).
- notes: One of three essentially identical almanacs published by Stewart for 1818 employing Sharp's ephemerides and Bogan's press: the Virginia Almanac for 1818 (1817.060), the Washington Almanac for 1818 (1817.061), and the Town & Country Almanac for 1818 (this item). All are typographically the same except for changes to the title text above word "Almanac" at top of title page (i.e. Virginia, Washington, or Town & Country).
As of March 2014, the OCLC WorldCat conflated this item to a like-named almanac published by Cushing & Stout in Baltimore (Shaw & Shoemaker 51717), so giving a mistaken impression that this item is widely held; however, only known copy of this variant is held by the Virginia Historical Society and was not filmed by Early American Imprints Series.
