- notes: Imprint states simply: "Fredericksburg―1817." In July 1817, Timothy Green reclaimed his long-standing majority interest in the sole printing office Fredericksburg, one that issued the Virginia Herald, from William F. Gray, who had conducted the office for him since late 1814; Green took on his protégé James D. Harrow as his new partner in firm of Green & Harrow, and they conducted the office until early 1819; hence the attribution here.
