- title: Proceedings of a Grand Annual Communication of the Grand Lodge of Virginia, begun and held in the Masons' Hall in the City of Richmond, on the evening of the second Monday in December, being the eighth day of the month, anno lucis 5817, anno domini 1817.
- sequence_number: 35
- year: 1818
- place_issued: Richmond
- issuing_press: John Warrock
- author: Freemasons. Grand Lodge of Virginia.
- notes: This annual gathering met from December 8 to 11, 1817, during the meeting of the General Assembly, so the attendees include numerous members of the Assembly; Virginia print trade figures in attendance were Richmonders John Warrock (Senior Grand Deacon), William H. Fitzwhylsonn (Grans Secretary), Alexander McRae, and Samuel Cary, as well as William Fairfax Gray of Fredericksburg. Unlike proceedings from other years, the text here offers a report [p. 26-40] of the current state of ech. lodge formed under jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Virginia (108 in all) with officers where known.
Title continued a long association between printer Warrock and bookseller Fitzwhylsonn, with Warrock serving as the lodge's unnamed official printer (1811-1856) and Fitzwhylsonn serving as Grand Secretary (1805-1830), so responsible for having his minutes published.
