- notes: Sheet lacks colophon; Dunnavant was a job-printer in Petersburg from 1815 to 1823, and had recently ceased publishing the weekly American Star there; newspaper advertising dates this prospectus to October 1818; as item almost certainly issued from Dunnavant's press then, so the attribution reported here. This paper never issued, however, making Dunnavant's next successful journalistic venture the Warrenton Reporter, published from 1824 to at least 1827 in that North Carolina town.
