Thomas and Love were leaders in the local Presbyterian church; they used the newly-established Warrenton press of Caldwell & McKennie to reprint an 1811 work published in Frankfort, Kentucky, by Cameron, a Scottish immigrant minister considered one of the founders of the Presbyterian Church in Kentucky' the McKennie here was probably John H. McKennie, who later founded the Central Gazette in Charlottesville in 1820.
