- imprint_number: 1818.112
- title: A Defence of the resolution of the Episcopal Convention, held at Winchester, in May, 1818.
- sequence_number: 112
- year: 1818
- place_issued: Winchester
- issuing_press: John Heiskell
- author: -----
- notes: Resolution concerned immorality of gambling, horse racing, and theatrical amusements.
Only copy known, held by Library Company of Philadelphia, lacks all after p. 36 (apparently a 4th gathering, now lost). Item carries caption title only, so lacks either colophon or imprint; at this time, Heiskell was the printer-of-choice for Episcopalian publications there, especially for those of Rev. William Meade, while Heiskell's competitor, Jonathon Foster, was choice of Presbyterians, Baptists, and other denominations, so the attribution reported here.
