- year: 1819
- place_issued: Norfolk
- issuing_press: George Balls
- author: Challoner, Neville Butler (b. 1784).
- notes: Only known title bearing an imprint for George Balls in Norfolk; Balls was a London music publisher (as part of James & George Balls) who emigrated to Philadelphia in 1816; kinsman Thomas Balls also emigrated about that time to Norfolk, where he acted as an agent for the family's publications; this title indicates that George briefly joined Thomas in Norfolk in 1819 as the printing trade in Philadelphia was disrupted by the financial panic of that year; George later returned to Philadelphia to conduct his business throughout the antebellum era.
The New Guida di Musica was first published in London in 1810 by James & George Balls.
While recorded in Shaw & Shoemaker, the Early American Imprints Series has not processed a digital image of the imprint, making it accessible only in the obsolete micro-opaque edition.
