- notes: Only known copy was in private hands when recorded by Norona & Shetler; current location unknown. Sheet lacked a colophon, but was assigned to Charlestown by Norona & Shetler based on the printed dateline; however, their entry also reports that the content referred to an "article in Farmer's Repository containing scurrilous allusions' about the unknown author. As the only press then working in Charlestown was that producing the Farmer's Repository, it seems highly unlikely that such an aggrieved party would then use the offending press to publish a reply to that journal's affront; rather, it is most likely that this sheet issued from one of the two other nearby presses – those of John Alburtis in Martinsburg and George W. Sappington in Shepherdstown – which were the key competitors for the Farmer's Repository of Richard Williams; those circumstance inform the indeterminacy reported here.
