- notes: One of documents accompanying Report of Joint Committee investigating the Treasurer’s Office (1820.032), the final report from this session of the Assembly on the mismanagement of the Treasurer's Office by John Preston, recently-dismissed as treasurer for malfeasance; given limited information herein, there were likely other documents, now lost, that are not enumerated in the House journal, where the report is also printed.
Thomas Ritchie, the public printer, was ordered on February 18, 1820, to print 500 copies of the report and its accompanying documents for the use of the Assembly, so the attribution here to the partnership then conducting Ritchie's press. Swem recorded all under one entry..
