Nominations have closed for the 2024 Nonfiction, Fiction, Poetry and Children's Literature Awards and the Art in Literature: The Mary Lynn Kotz Award.

Books published in 2023 qualified as submissions, assuming they met all other criteria. Guidelines for 2024 Literary Awards nominations can be found here, and nominations were submitted by completing the online form or by printing and mailing the form to: Library of Virginia, Attn: Office of the Librarian of Virginia, 800 East Broad Street, Richmond, VA 23219.
