- sequence_number: 8
- year: 1812

- author: Virginia. General Assembly.
- notes: No copy known extant; Pleasants was ordered to print 250 copies of this report for the use of the House in its deliberations; document offered alternatives to the two sets of resolutions proposed in the House (1811.110 & 1812.007), the first by James Robertson, Jr., of Amelia County, the source of Swem's supplied title above; the deliberations created a compromise set of resolutions that the Senate then amended (1812.009); the process eventually led to the adoption by the Assembly of an amended set of resolutions on January 25, 1812.
