- place_issued: Richmond
- issuing_press: Franklin Press
- author: Rice, Benjamin Holt (1782-1856).
- notes: The Young Men's Missionary Society of Richmond was a project initiated by the Presbyterian evangelical John Holt Rice, and here he employed his younger brother do deliver the sermon at the society's annual spring meeting; Nathan Pollard was the society's secretary.
In mid-1820, the ownership of the Franklin Press shifted from William Waller Gray to Nathan Pollard; during that transition, titles appearing with the office's imprint did not carry the name of either printer, so leaving some uncertainty as to who produced the item; this Index attributes such works both men until Pollard's primacy is evinced later in the year.
